How do I – Eclipse: Find all references

If you are familiar with Visual Studio, you know that you can find references pretty easy there. And, if by any chance you are the lucky owner of ReSharper (http://www.jetbrains.com/resharper/) – the great plugin for Visual Studio, its even easier.

How about Eclipse? Well, it’s easy too, just select variable and in context menu select “References” and then “Workspace”, “Project” or “Hierarchy”. That’s it :).

How do I – Eclipse: Enable line numbers in editor

I really got used to line numbering in Visual Studio. It was the first thing I did after installing VS. Now, when I moved to Eclipse, I need those numbers in Eclipse too :).

So, how can you enable line numbers in Eclipse? Go to Window menu, then Preferences –> General –> Editors –> Text Editors and check “Show Line Numbers” there. Press “OK” and that’s it.
